In April 2010 the Pattingham bellringers together with friends from Claverley,
Tong, Tettenhall and Penn went on an outing to Oxford where we rang at 6 city
centre towers.
During the lunch break some of the ringers went punting.
We had two former secretaries of the Oxford University Society of Change Ringers
among our number and they each took charge of a punt. The Claverley ringers were
in one punt (left photo) and ringers from Pattingham and Tettenhall were in the
other (right photo).
Some of those who were not punting sat on Magdalen Bridge to eat their lunch.
During a break between ringing Norman had time for contemplation while exploring
Magdalen College.
